A series of fantastic locations – including the historic Ford Factory in Detroit, the site of Ford’s first mass production.
It is a 60’ vertical space, we dressed all the way to the top with lighting and scenery. In a gravel pit north of Detroit, we piled storage containers 6 stories high on the side of an old lake bed and created a huge slide and cliff edge. It was rigged with water and our character actually slid down and hung over a 15’ cliff for the sequence. On Belle Isle, we created a fight ring out of the old zoo, adding massive Styrofoam “rocks,” greenery and walls. In each case, the sets were brought alive for the robot sequences by the same team that created the effects for Avatar.
